55kg weighted wide grip chin up

This is a variation of the chin up exercise. It places more emphasis on the back muscles, rather than the arms. It has been traditionally used to built a "wide back", as opposed to the closed grip counterpart that has been used to make the back "thicker".

Similarly to the chin ups, but even moreso with this variation, try to squeeze your lats (back muscles) to initiate movement, rather than using your biceps (arms).
